Jurors reach verdict in trial for Jennifer Hudson family murders

In their third day of deliberations, jurors have reached a verdict that’s to be announced at 4:30 p.m. on the fate of the Chicago man accused of killing Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew.

Hudson is expected to be in court for the reading of the verdict.

The jury deliberated for a total of about 18 hours since getting the case on Wednesday.
